THE LQV®AIR CROSS-FLOW GASIFICATION & THE WSK® FLUIDIZED BED FUEL GAS PURIFICATION !
Since the foundation of VER GmbH in 1992, the engineers of our company have been engaged in the development, design, planning and construction of plants as well as the testing of technologies, among others, for the thermochemical conversion of solid carbon carriers such as biomass, waste and residual materials into gaseous and/or liquid energy carriers or chemical raw materials.
In the start-up phase of our company foundation, from 1992 to 1995, we were mainly engaged in the development of the LQV® air cross-flow gasification process. A gasification plant with a fuel capacity of 100-120 kW was planned and built as a test plant at the Freital/Saxony site. Further plants for biomass gasification and for gasification of waste and residual materials followed. (Project overview)
The LQV® test plant was approved according to the 17th BImSchV for 100 different fuel types and has been successfully used in numerous test campaigns since 1993.
Test reports can be found on our website under Downloads. (Downloads)
Another focus of our work in the field of solid fuel gasification was and is the development of suitable processes for gas purification. Thus, both a chemical-physical and an adsorptive-thermal fuel gas purification process were developed.
The solutions found were also successfully tested by numerous theoretical and practical works as well as the construction of suitable test plants for fuel gases in the capacity ranges 50 Nm³/h, 150 Nm³/h, 600 Nm³/h and 4,000 Nm³/h (industrial design for WSK IV in 2012).
